Auburn takes home No. 1 seed in NCAA Committee's Top 16 reveal

Leading up to the monster showdown between No. 1 Auburn and No. 2 Alabama, some good news came in for Bruce Pearl and the Tigers. As expected, Auburn was given the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Committee's Top 16 reveal - the first and only one for the campaign.
What Pearl has been able to get done with Auburn has been unreal. It wasn't long ago that this team wasn't taken seriously in the SEC. Now, they're the top in the country and playing exceptionally well. Will this squad be able to go on a deep run in the NCAA Tournament?

The other No. 1 seeds are Alabama, Duke and Florida. Tennessee, a No. 2 seed, is No. 5 overall. On Saturday, Auburn and Alabama will face off in one of the best games of the year. The Tigers will have a great chance to send quite the statement to the rest of the country.
