VIDEO: Kyrie Irving Caught Shoving Teammate Into Position During Nets' Loss to Nuggets

Even with Kevin Durant most likely out for the season, one would not have thought that Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving would have to do this much by himself. Video from Thursday night's game against the Denver Nuggets shows Irving clearly pushing teammate Dzanan Musa into the correct position (like a proper leader should!).

The not-so-subtle action took place in what would be a 101-93 loss for the Nets.

This play is just a microcosm of a difficult 4-7 start for Brooklyn. Despite Irving's outstanding 28.5 points per game, the team has lost its last three contests. There's clearly a real adjustment period here in Kings County for this team, which looks a lot different from last year's version.

Uncle Drew needed LeBron James in order for their former Cleveland Cavaliers' championship run to be possible, and the Boston Celtics got further in the playoffs when Kyrie was hurt in 2018 when he was actually playing a year ago. With Irving now the undisputed No. 1 option -- at least until KD comes back -- the Nets are dealing with growing pains.

Of course, it would help if guys like Musa knew where to stand.

That would be a good start.
