It's been a rough season for the Kansas State Wildcats. At 9-17, K-State is an afterthought in the Big 12 and (to make matters worse), reside in the same state as the almighty Jayhawks. Bruce Weber didn't make things any better by getting in an altercation with one of this players during a team timeout in the 'Cats loss to Texas Tech Wednesday night.

Wildcats junior guard Cartier Diarra, who is averaging over 13 points per game on the season, shouted at Weber on his way to the huddle. Rather than letting his player vent, Weber argued back, and even took out some frustration on his stool before drawing up another play. It's not a great look for either party, but surely something we'd expect more from a 21-year-old than a veteran coach.

Nonetheless, Weber failed to impose any in-game discipline to Diarra, which isn't helping matters. To put it simply, losing sucks, but it becomes even worse when that mindset seeps into the identity of a program. The Wildcats are on the verge of allowing that to happen.
