The Houston Texans didn't play a great game on Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they came away with a 13-12 victory. One of the main concerns about the Texans' season thus far has to be JJ Watt's ineffectiveness on the defensive side of the ball. Well, Watt seems to have an explanation as to why he's been limited in 2019, and he's pointing his finger at the refs.

"There are a couple holding calls out there that it's just, it's every week," said Watt, admitting he might get fined for his comments. "The ref literally admitted to me that the guy held me on one play, and he didn't throw the flag. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with that."

Well, there you have it folks. Watt is clearly frustrated by his inability to get to the quarterback, and it certainly doesn't help that opposing offensive lineman are holding him virtually every play, with no repercussions from the officiating crew.

The fact that the referee admitted his mistake to Watt is the worst part about this. Whichever official the star lineman is referring to was aware of the fact that he missed the call, but didn't bother to correct his mistake.

It's hard to blame Watt for being frustrated, as he's not getting anything from officials, making his task in the trenches-- which is already more difficult due to constant holding-- even harder.

He'll look to get back on track in Week 3, and hopefully after his comments officials will be paying closer attention him, looking out for possible holding violations.
