Indianapolis Colts guard Quenton Nelson is still a relative greenhorn in the NFL, but he is already one of the most universally well-known and acclaimed interior offensive linemen in the game today. Nelson will likely rank high on the NFL's Top 100 Players countdown, if for no other reason than the fact he regularly makes the best defensive linemen in the league look like high school players when they try to go against him.

With Marshal Yanda having retired, Nelson is the NFL's pancake king.

Nelson was picked sixth overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, and he has been a first-team All-Pro during each of his first two seasons in the league.

It's exceedingly rare to find someone with the 330-pound Nelson's raw power and mobility. It's even rarer to find someone who can make left guard a glamor position, but Nelson's bone-crunching hits are as entertaining as any circus catch.

Anytime you trade down in the first round and still end up with someone who became the unquestioned best player at his position, that's a massive feather in Chris Ballard's cap. As soon as they're able, Indianapolis will surely give Nelson a multi-year extension that will put all other interior linemen to shame.
