Forget trying to trade for a deep threat as the NFL trade deadline looms. The fastest man alive might be able to help you take the top off of the defense.

33-year-old Usain Bolt is still looking for employment after his retirement from competitive sprinting, and is considering a run at the NFL if Tom Brady's Patriots or Aaron Rodgers' Packers are interested.

This is not Bolt's first foray into professional team sports. A noted diehard Manchester United fan, Bolt tried to make it as a soccer player, earning a tryout with Australian side Central Coast Mariners. While Bolt didn't make the team, he did grab a brace in a preseason game.

If you could draw up a deep threat receiver on a board, it would look an awful lot like Bolt. At 6-5, Bolt hasn't lost his legendary speed, as he ran a 40-yard dash in 4.22 seconds despite being 33, having no preparation, and running in sweatpants and running shoes.

Rugby players with no NFL experience have been able to latch onto NFL practice squads, so the fastest man who ever lived could easily sneak onto a roster. It worked for Bob Hayes, why can't it work for Bolt?
