The entire world was duped into thinking 2020 would be our year. Instead, it's been a hellish nightmare, and we're only five months in. Sports fans have witnessed every professional league get shut down due to the spread of the coronavirus across the world. As if that wasn't bad enough, college football fans were kicked below the belt this past week.

After three years, Bad Boy Mowers will no longer be sponsoring the Gasparilla Bowl. The news was officially confirmed on Thursday by ESPN, who runs the annual bowl game.

That's right, the best college bowl game name in history is six feet under after a few years of existence.

As every football fan knows, most of the college bowls have some weird names. Before the inception of the Gasparilla Bowl, the game previously held terrible monikers, such as the magicJack Bowl and the Beef O'Brady's Bowl. For once, ESPN finally got it right by bringing in Bad Boy Mowers as a sponsor.

Come on, the name is absolutely tremendous. You best believe the Marshall Thundering Herd, Temple Owls, and UCF Knights were ecstatic to hoist the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl trophy. We would be!

If you'll excuse us, we need to compose ourselves as we mourn the loss of Bad Boy Mowers as an official NCAA Football sponsor. 2020, you're the worst.
