The Patriots Are Complete Cowards for Not Elaborating Upon Antonio Brown Situation

This is blueprint New England Patriots, but this is perhaps the last straw.

Week in and week out, this organization dodges questions ranging from the team's game plan to anything remotely controversial. Then, the fanbase plays the victim as if the media is stepping over the line asking the most necessary of questions.

And you've guessed it! It continued in Week 3 as reporters were trying to get more information on the team's failed experiment with Antonio Brown. First we had this Bill Belichick death stare:

This is the leader of the defending Super Bowl champions, somehow mentally tough enough to get this team through the AFC every single year, but so mentally weak that he's about to break down on live television after a question about player personnel.

And then Tom Brady came in with the most pretty boy response of all time:

That's actually a nice little monologue, but, yet again, has nothing to do with Brown and his release in wake of the sexual assault and rape allegations.

Bottling up your feelings isn't going to help your mental state, Tom.

Is it really this hard? Is it taboo to talk about the egregious move your team made to bring in a guy that's created out-of-line blowups on his last two teams (in addition to being embroiled in countless off-the-field issues)? Is it hard to admit your team probably released him because the sexual assault allegations were going to be too much to handle with the press?

The answer: it's not that hard. Everyone is sick of the Patriots' schtick of "looking forward to the next opponent" or their high-nose one-word answers in response to pressing questions.

This organization needs to get over itself and face something that doesn't make them entirely comfortable for once.
