Steve Kerr Already Considering Pushing Back Steph Curry's Return Because He Has Common Sense

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry underwent surgery on his left hand in Nov. but as the date of his expected return is approaching, it is uncertain if he will be ready by then.

Steve Kerr said that Curry may not be available for Sunday's contest against the Washington Wizards as he has not had enough scrimmage time in.

Quite frankly this is the right decision be Kerr by not rushing Curry back into action. Warriors and NBA fans might be frustrated about not being able to see the two-time MVP compete, but there is no logical reason for him to be out there.

The Warriors are dead last in the NBA standings with a record of 12-46 and have no chance to sneak into a playoff spot this late in the season. So far out of contention, it's the correct decision to push back Curry's return as there is no reason to re-risk injury.

Next year, the Warriors will get back the second half of the splash brothers in Klay Thompson after he went down with an ACL tear in the 2019 NBA Finals. Couple that with a potential top-3 pick and the Warriors can be on the top of the food chain once again. It is vital that Curry is healthy to be a part of that team.
