Stanford nation is still rocking right now after the Cardinal finished their incredible run on Sunday night. In case you missed it, Stanford took down Arizona 54-53 in an absolute thriller to win the NCAA National Championship.
For Stanford, a defensive standout throughout the year was no question Anna Wilson, the sister of Seattle Seahawks signal-caller Russell Wilson. On Sunday, the QB showed his sister and Stanford some major love for the huge accomplishment.
That's a classy move there from the Seahawks superstar. It's easy to understand why he's so fired up for his little sister. Anna Wilson has been incredible to watch for Stanford. This past season, she was named Pac-12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year after a brilliant campaign.
Now, she has plenty to brag about when next Thanksgiving rolls around. While her brother has won a Super Bowl, Anna Wilson can now bring up that she helped Stanford win a National championship.
