The Fighting Irish offense will get a boost with the return of starting running back Jafar Armstrong, who has missed time due to abdominal surgery. While his return may not seem like a huge deal after the team put up 52 points last week, Notre Dame is the nation's 61st-ranked rushing attack, so Armstrong will no doubt give the team a big boost.

USC has used three quarterbacks this year, and freshman Kedon Slovis has been the best. The former 3-star recruit will return from injury to start Saturday's game. In three games this year, Slovis has a 77.9 completion percentage with five touchdowns and four interceptions.
Though he's been impressive, Slovis's youth may end up on full display against a capable Notre Dame squad.
