Nicholas Castellanos already ripped the Detroit Tigers' home field of Comerica Park earlier this season, so what more could he say about his now former team?

Even though we're three weeks removed from the trade deadline, Castellanos spoke to the media and was asked about the deal that sent him from Detroit to the Chicago Cubs. Let's just he's not missing his former home too much.

According to Castellanos and his brilliant metaphor, he was drowning in the Motor City and was given a much-needed breath of fresh air when he joined the Cubs.

And, he's not wrong. Castellanos was a prime talent on a wasteland of a Tigers team that hasn't made the playoffs since 2014 (where they got swept in the ALDS) and will finish last in the AL Central for the third time in five seasons.

Along with the Orioles, they're arguably orchestrating one of the worst rebuilds in the sport, registering at least 98 losses in each of the past two seasons (and this year will likely make it a third).

We'd venture to say he's thrilled to be on a team competing for a division title, something he hasn't experienced in over four years.
