Standing in their way is Serbian side Partizan Belgrade, who will host the day's action tied with United on points and goal difference through two games.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's boys are fresh of a 1-1 draw against Premier League leaders Liverpool, and have every intention of parlaying the positive result into European success. Casting a black cloud over the proceedings, however, is the specter of racial abuse-- England played their last international date in Bulgaria and witnessed ugly chants from the crowd, and right on cue, Partizan Belgrade has had to play their last two home games in European competition behind closed doors due to similar incidents.

In so many ways, that should be all the motivation Man United needs to see it through and lock down three points.
"I believe in people, and I'm sure the atmosphere [in Belgrade] will be fantastic. We'll try and keep them quiet by playing good football," Solskjaer said per the BBC.
