Liverpool has kept its 2021-22 Champions League dreams alive thanks to a MASSIVE win over Manchester United on Thursday. To make things even sweeter for LFC, they pulled off that win at Old Trafford after trailing 1-0 to start.
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring off a deflected shot, giving United plenty of confidence. However, a beautiful goal from Diogo Jota tied things up, while Roberto Firmino put Liverpool up 2-1 right before halftime.
In the second half, Firmino scored early on to push things to 3-1 in favor of Jurgen Klopp's men. United made it 3-2 thanks to a goal from Marcus Rashford, but Mo Salah closed the scoring at 4-2 late.
With that win, Liverpool is within one point of Chelsea for fourth place in the EPL table. The end of the season sure is going to be interesting.
