Joe Burrow is setting pretty high expectations for whoever his first NFL coach ends up being. Per Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network, the 2019 Heisman Trophy winner said that he will learn his whole NFL playbook in a single week.

Yep. Seven days.

Burrow has ben at the NFL Scouting Combine this week, and met with the media on Tuesday. He is projected to be the first overall pick in the draft after a historic season with LSU, in which he became the first Tiger to win the Heisman and threw for a an NCAA record 60 touchdowns.

Burrow's resume in 2019 proves that he is more than capable of learning an offense, but whether or not it can translate to the NFL remains to be seen. The Cincinnati Bengals currently hold the first pick in the draft; if Burrow was to be selected by the Bengals as he's expected to, just learning the plays won't be enough. He'll have to overcome a heaping portion of adversity to help such a struggling team get over the hump.

Before taking over as the Bengals' head coach, Taylor helped Jared Goff to his Pro Bowl 2018 season as the Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks coach. However, Taylor's offense has proven to be less than impressive in Cincinnati, as current Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton had a career-worst year in 2019.
