Throughout the week at the NFL Combine, we've been hearing a lot about Daniel Jones and his negotiations with the New York Giants. General manager Joe Schoen said he's optimistic that a new deal can get done.
However, there's no way Jones and his agents can be serious with their asking price, right? According to insider Pat Leonard, Jones wants more than $45 million a season from Schoen and the New York front office.
This is a large chunk of change and Giants fans can't believe this is even being discussed. Jones had a strong year in 2022, but no one thinks he's worth that kind of dough. It'd be a shocker if NY comes even close to this number.
