The Miami Dolphins have totally lost their cool, and the organization continues to forfeit the 2019 season. After defensive tackle Christian Wilkins was ejected from their Week 7 game against the Buffalo Bills for throwing a punch, Bobby McCain will now face discipline for his actions after the contest.

The Dolphins safety was accused of threatening to spit on a 13-year-old Bills fan after the game after the fan called him and the team "irrelevant." After an older fan confronted him, McCain allegedly spit directly in his face.

"He's the nicest kid in the world. He's sat behind us for years with his dad. He was just having a good time," said 28-year-old Dylan Wentland, a Bills season ticket holder, of the 13-year-old fan that McCain was initially peeved at. "I go, 'Dude, what’s wrong with you? What kind of role model are you for the kid?' "

Wentland said that after the game, McCain "ran right up to me and spit in my face and then ran down the tunnel."

Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said that McCain will be internally disciplined, and the Erie County Sheriff's Office remains in contact with the organization.

If McCain did indeed spit on a fan and threatened to do so to a kid, the only acceptable punishment is an unconditional release.
