IT'S OVER! It's finally over! After 15 soggy inning of afternoon baseball at Wrigley Field, Wilson Contreras stepped up to the dish and decided that he was ready to go home. The Cubs catcher laid into a 1-2 pitch from Milwaukee's Burch Smith and put this game into the books at long last.

Boom. Game.

It was Contreras' 10th home run of the year, and handed the North Siders a key win over some tough division rivals. There may be an argument that this marathon affair should count for 1.5 wins given all the extra baseball, but for now, all that matters is that it's time to party.

Nobody let Willson pay for any of his beers tonight, Chicago.
