You hate to see huge games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs decided by poor officiating, but that's where we're at in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes' Dougie Hamilton was called for roughing, and sent to the box in the process. In the resulting Power Play, the Bruins took a 3-2 lead. The ball may not lie, but the puck does often.

We have to side with Carolina on this one. While officials earlier missed a pretty clear crosscheck to the back of Brad Marchand, this isn't the way to even things out.
