Only two episodes remains for the beloved HBO show Game of Thrones. The eighth season's fifth episode is anticipated to be one of the most thrilling yet, and there will be very special cameo in the episode.
Aaron Rodgers is going to be in Game of Thrones. Enjoy.— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) May 9, 2019
It's remains unclear the capacity in which Rodgers will appear in the episode, but it isn't the first time HBO has lured a non-acting celebrity into the show.
Ed Sheeran was famously featured, and even sang, in an episode in the seventh season, briefly interacting with the character Arya Stark. Rodgers was most likely not brought on to participate in song, so it will be interesting to see what role was carved out for his character.

The final season of the show already divided audiences, due to its plot development. The internet further roasted it after people discovered a Starbucks cup in one of the scenes.
Following all that up by placing Rodgers in one possibly one of the most important episodes of the show could really turn the fans against them, or it could be a huge hit, depending on how much attention HBO puts on the fact that the character is in fact a former NFL MVP.
Let's hope that Rodgers kills it in his appearance on the show, and that the writers didn't try to take away from the plot in order to get the quarterback some face time.
