Boston Red Sox ace Chris Sale had himself a no-hitter going on Wednesday night against the Baltimore Orioles, but lost it in the bottom of the sixth inning on a Joey Rickard single to center field. Many pitchers lose their composure later on in the game, but that's not the case. In the seventh, Sale threw an immaculate inning: nine straight strikes, three straight outs.

Absolute filth from Sale, who had damage on his mind.

Sale now joins Pedro Martinez, Clay Buchholz, Craig Kimbrel and Rick Porcello as the only pitchers in Red Sox history to throw an immaculate inning.

Anyone who had their doubts about Chris Sale may now be standing corrected after his elite performance on Wednesday.
