In the 2018 NFL offseason, the Dallas Cowboys and Dez Bryant agreed to part ways as the wideout was clearly not happy in his role. He didn't catch on with a team until November, where he signed with the New Orleans Saints. That wouldn't last long however, as Bryant wound up suffering a torn Achilles in practice and has been working on getting back ever since. On Wednesday, Bryant shared some of his progress, and he's looking like he's returning to form rather quickly.
Bryant showed off his footwork in a cone drill and then ran with a burst of speed to catch a ball. He's getting closer and closer to a return by the day, and plenty of teams will be interested in his services if he can prove that he's back to full strength.
This isn't the first time Dez has posted a workout video, as he put up another a few days prior, which was the first since he went down with the Achilles injury. He took a tumble after catching the ball in the video, but was able to get up and show that he was OK.
The Saints would be smart to bring him back and provide Drew Brees with another weapon, and that could be realistic considering it was reported New Orleans would be open to a reunion with the former Cowboys wideout.
