​El Mago is doing some magical things today at Wrigley Field. St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong hit a ground ball toward the middle of the infield, but ​Chicago Cubs star shortstop ​Javier Baez ranged to his left, slid, snagged the ball on a knee, and then turned and fired a strike to first base to complete the web gem.

Yeah, that's not as simple at Baez made that play look.

Baez is truly a magician with the glove.


Not only does he have ​light-tower power, but he's as good as it gets defensively. Sounds like an MVP to me. How about you?
