After seeing Parris Campbell and Terry McLaurin drafted by the Colts and Redskins, respectively, and Johnnie Dixon sign with the Texans, Ohio State is quietly becoming a factory for wide receivers.
The Buckeyes could add to their immensely talented receivers room with 5-star target Julian Fleming, who is reportedly deciding between Clemson and Ohio State.
Last night I just listened to a down south recruiting expert on ESPU XM talking 5 WR Julian Fleming. This guy said the scuttlebutt bug down in Clemson is it's a 2 team battle between them and Ohio State.— jbook™ (@jbook37) May 3, 2019

This is a major shakeup to the status quo, as Penn State was thought to be in pole position for Fleming for the longest time.
Fleming has openly talked about the great relationship he has with former Miami Dolphins starter and Ohio State wide receivers coach Brian Hartline. For a kid with professional ambitions and the talent to make it happen, the Hartline connection can't be ignored.
5 WR Julian Fleming that his best relationship with any coach is with Ohio State's @brianhartline The fact that Hartline has played and been in the NFL gives him credibility when talking about getting to that level.https://t.co/mqseIgjjtM— jbook™ (@jbook37) May 3, 2019
While seeing him catching bombs from Trevor Lawrence at Clemson would be great, Ohio State makes a lot of sense. He loves the coaching staff, there is an avenue toward immediate playing time, and Ryan Day wants to throw 50 times a game. It's a win on all fronts, if it happens.
