Yet another bad look for an SEC school with a troubled history of recruiting.

Jalon Jones, a former University of Florida quarterback who is now in the transfer portal, was accused of sexual battery in April.

The university student declined to press charges but told campus police about the assault that took place on April 6. Jones signed with Florida and enrolled early in January in hopes of competing for a starting job, but lasted 15 practices and opted to transfer.

It's unclear transfer was voluntary, as it wouldn't be surprising if Florida suggested it given the circumstances.

Nonetheless, it won't be easy for Jones to find a new home with these allegations hanging over his head and you can bet his time in Gainesville is done because this is the last thing the Gators need to deal with heading into a big season under Dan Mullen.

At least Florida will be just fine with Feleipe Franks and Emory Jones at QB.
