North Carolina didn't quite live up to its expectations in the NCAA Tournament this season, but they are already looking very dangerous ahead of the 2019-20 campaign. After landing some highly coveted recruits from the 2019 class, the Tar Heels brought in an experienced stud as well.
Per Stadium's Jeff Goodman, William & Mary graduate transfer Justin Pierce will be heading to Chapel Hill.

That's a major grab for Roy Williams and the Tar Heels, and he will join 5-star recruits Cole Anthony and Armando Bacot in headlining the fresh faces joining the program.
As a junior, Pierce averaged 14.9 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game, shooting at a 46.4% clip, including 32.4% on 1.6 made three-pointers per game. He started 24 games for William & Mary, appearing in 28 contests.
At 6-foot-7 and 215-pounds, Pierce can spread the floor for the Tar Heels while also acting as a strong presence on the glass.
This is an excellent addition to Roy Williams' side and the addition of Pierce should see the Tar Heels land among the favorites to win the big dance next season.
