The ongoing FBI probe exposing bribery and corruption in college basketball has really put Sean Miller and Arizona under the microscope. Former associate head coach Book Richardson was one of the three offenders formally indicted on corruption charges, and Miller has come under fire for allegedly paying upwards of $10,000 per month to former No. 1 recruit DeAndre Ayton.
According to Richardson, Miller was indeed paying Ayton and his family upwards of $10,000 per month in order to secure the star big man's commitment to Arizona.

Richardson also alleges that Miller was willing to pay former Wildcat Rawle Alkins $20,000. In addition, current Villanova point guard Jahvon Quinerly was requesting between $20,000 and $25,000 to join Miller in Tuscon.
from Yahoo report: On intercepted call "Richardson tells Dawkins that Sean Miller was paying, or had promised to pay, $10,000 a month for Deandre Ayton, who would go on to become the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA draft."https://t.co/fTK2uvC2Ar— Jon Wilner (@wilnerhotline) May 1, 2019
These comments should be taken with a grain of salt, considering that these allegations are coming from someone currently under federal indictment and could have an axe to grind. However, if these are indeed true, Arizona will find it very hard to keep Miller employed.
