Day 2 of the NFL Draft has featured plenty of trades. The latest is the Carolina Panthers swapping picks with the Seattle Seahawks.

With the 37th overall pick, the Panthers have selected Ole Miss offensive tackle Greg Little.

In order to facilitate the trade, the Panthers sent their 44th and 77th picks to the Seahawks in exchange for No. 37, which was acquired on Thursday from the New York Giants.

The Panthers passed on taking one of the top tackles in the first round, and opted for linebacker Brian Burns. But, considering so many viable o-linemen were left on the board, the Panthers felt it was time to go get their guy.

Help at the line of scrimmage was needed for Carolina, considering quarterback Cam Newton was severely banged up last season.

Now, they have a guy in Little to help protect their scrambling quarterback.
