The nation's top remaining uncommitted high school recruit, 5-star guard Cole Anthony, announced on Tuesday morning that he will play college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Anthony is widely regarded as the best point guard in the his class and he will be a huge addition to a Roy Williams roster that is set to lose five players, including star point guard Coby White.
The No. 4 prospect joins 5-star center Armando Bacot, the No. 19 player in 2019, to headline Williams' class that likely isn't finished just yet.
Here is Anthony himself making the decision on ESPN's Get Up:
Anthony will come into Chapel Hill fresh off an MVP performance in the McDonald's All-American Game as well as the Jordan Brand Classic. The New York native also averaged a triple-double at Virginia high school powerhouse Oak Hill Academy.
The 18-year-old notched a gold medal with Team USA's under-18s in the FIBA Americas and was part of the all-tournament team. Additionally, he was named the MVP of the AAU Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.
What a get for Roy Williams and Co.
