Is there a more exciting fighter in the world right now than the electric Teofimo Lopez? The Brooklyn lightweight was his typical live-wire self tonight at Madison Square Garden, giving Edis Tatli the business over the course of four deft rounds before finally finishing him off in the fifth. Check out this nasty body shot:

Winded and utterly outclassed, Tatli was not getting up from that one. He was counted out, and all that needed to happen afterward was a customary Lopez backflip.
Undefeated and brash as hell, Lopez just took another big step toward making his claim as one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the game. One day, perhaps even Vasyl Lomachenko will come calling.
But until then, we'll take the theatrics and be plenty happy in the meantime.
