After Bryce Harper dropped a three-run bomb tonight at Coors Field, Andrew McCutchen couldn't simply let it stand. After all, he's a former NL MVP, too. So when he stepped up to the dish in the top of the ninth inning, he took it upon himself to add some insurance and bring the Phillies one step closer to a big W.
Cutch's solo blast was estimated at 404 feet, and made it a three-run affair. And as Harper stepped up into the on-deck circle, he made sure to greet his teammate properly.
Only one proper way to celebrate. pic.twitter.com/iUneo6P3wY— Noah🇺🇸🇪🇷 (@VerticaIPass) April 21, 2019
