The Patriots are one of the best teams in the league at structuring perfect contracts, but even they have some weak ones. Although there aren't many, here are the three most overpaid players on New England's roster. Do fans agree with these?
3. Duron Harmon
The biggest issue with Harmon's contract is how much he gets for such a small role. Harmon has never started more than six games in a season, yet he's currently on a four-year, $17 million deal? That's just absurd for a player with a limited amount of production.
2. Marcus Cannon
Cannon is a good tackle, and there are many worse contracts for right tackles in the league, but his production just doesn't match his $6 million price tag. Looking at his injury issues as well, New England would be better off drafting a franchise tackle next week than paying Cannon.
1. Stephon Gilmore
Gilmore fits a similar bill as Cannon. He's a solid NFL cornerback, but his play just doesn't warrant his contract. Set to be paid eight figures in 2019, it's just too much for a cornerback who hasn't recorded more than two interceptions in a season as a Patriot.
