The offseason hasn't even started yet and things are already going wrong for the Washington Wizards. As for the Eagles, this is downright shameful.

Per multiple reports, Eagles defensive back Jalen Mills was arrested and Washington forward Devin Robinson was hospitalized after a brawl at the Opera nightclub in D.C.

A bench player, Robinson saw just 95 minutes of play across seven games in the 2018-2019 season. He averaged 6.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game while shooting 59.4 percent from the field.

Following the incident, the Wizards released a statement, saying that they were aware of the situation. They also made a swift decision on his future with the team.

"We will not extend him a qualifying offer for the 2019-20 season."

Talk about acting decisively. Robinson's minimal role with the team definitely made the decision to not extend him a qualifying offer much easier, but it's certainly refreshing to see swift action on the part of a professional sports team when dealing with an athlete's off-the-field issues.

As for the Eagles, they said they're also aware of the situation and won't provide further comment until more information is made available.
