Dwyane Wade said goodbye to the Miami Heat fanbase on Tuesday night in what turned out to be his final home game ever. After the Detroit Pistons were victorious on Tuesday night, the Heat were eliminated from playoff contention. With Wednesday night being his final game ever, Wade's "banana boat" buddies LeBron James, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony were in attendance to cheer him on in Brooklyn.
Let's state the obvious. James and Paul's regular seasons all concluded on Tuesday night, and Anthony is still a free agent. With a night off on the docket, they rightfully caught a flight to catch their friend put on a show against the Brooklyn Nets before he hangs up his sneakers for good.
Now THAT'S friendship.
