Betting has become all the rage in sports, now that it has become legal in certain states. With March Madness over, and Major League Baseball just starting, all focus is set on the Master's Tournament.
Well, one golf fan and bettor has taken a rather risky bet.
According to Darren Rovell of The Action Network, someone placed an $85,000 bet on Tiger Woods winning the Masters at a William Hill sportsbook in Nevada. The payout of such a wager? A cool $1.19 million.
JUST IN: A William Hill sportsbook in Nevada just took an $85,000 wager on Tiger to win the Masters. At 14-1, pays out $1.19 million if he puts on another green jacket on Sunday.— Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) April 9, 2019
With Woods having a career resurgence as of late, many won't call it a dangerous wager to place. But still, that's $85,000 you're putting on the line.
Let's face it, this person might have plenty of problems, but it's obvious that money isn't one of them.

While obsessed and casual golf fans alike will be cheering on Woods to put on his fifth green jacket, this bettor will be extra motivated to watching the Masters Tournament this weekend.
