Oh no, not like this. In the closing second of Auburn-Virginia, Kyle Guy had a shot from behind the arc for the win. The shot clanked off the rim, but in the hysteria of the situation a faint whistle proved to be the main storyline. Guy kicked out his foot, essentially forcing the Auburn defender to make contact. Was it a foul? Probably. But situational officiating often leads to controversy, and Tigers fans have beef with this call.

Guy went to the charity stripe and hit all three free throws, a testament to his clutch gene and ability to deal with the moment. As Guy stepped to the line, Auburn fans booed him relentlessly, mostly out of frustration with the officiating. Still, it didn't bother the UVA star, and he sunk every shot like he was alone in the gym.

Virginia advances, and surely this won't be the last we hear about this devastating moment for Auburn faithful.
