If a Cowboys legend like Roger Staubach siding favorably with you on anything isn't a good sign, then I don't know what is.

For Dak Prescott, facing a major career milestone, it's got to be pretty encouraging that the former standout Dallas quarterback thinks he will get a big contract from Jerry Jones and the rest of the Cowboys' front office.

Staubach makes a great point in regards to the whole situation when he mentions that another team will pay Prescott big money if Dallas isn't willing to.

Although the Cowboys have plenty of contracts to work on in the coming months, with Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, and DeMarcus Lawrence all expecting huge deals soon, solid and consistent quarterbacks like Prescott aren't easy to find. Snd unless Dallas wants to go searching, expect to see Prescott suiting up for America's Team with a big contract under his belt swiftly, just as Staubach predicts will happen.

Prescott has been very successful during his years in Dallas thus far, leading the Cowboys to two playoff berths in the past three years, while also managing fair production as an individual quarterback.

The Mississippi State product is young, too, and carries the potential of being a franchise quarterback, meaning he is sure to be a hot commodity when he hits free agency next offseason.

While Staubach certainly seems to think Prescott will stay in Texas with the Cowboys, the quarterback is sure to get a huge contract from some team, whether it be Dallas or someone else in the NFL.
