When it comes to covering the NFL Draft, no one does it quite like ESPN's Todd McShay. In the guru's recent mock drafts, he's had the New York Giants taking Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins with the sixth overall pick.

But while he still believes the G-Men will take him there, McShay's not sold that it's a complete lock at this point.

McShay appeared on ESPN morning show Get Up! to give his thoughts on the potential of Haskins falling past the Giants in the draft.

"If any of these quarterbacks are going to fall a little bit, it might be Haskins," he said. "It will be interesting to see. I keep hearing the Giants may not be in love with Haskins. I put him [at No. 6] because it's kind of the only place in the top 10 I felt good about putting him. I do think, ultimately, he'll wind up going somewhere in that range."

With how much emphasis is put on quarterback play in today's NFL, it would be especially surprising to see one of the best QB prospects in the draft fall out of the top 10-- especially when a team like the Giants is in position to snag him and address a position of need.

As recent reporting have indicated, the Giants front office still thinks Eli Manning deserves to be the starter despite his production tailing off in the past few years. But the team is running out of time to plan for the future, particularly after drafting running back Saquon Barkley with their top pick instead of a quarterback one year ago.
