It's April, which means that we are officially less than a month away from the NFL Draft, a day comprised of Roger Goodell shaking hands with and sometimes hugging his new employees.

All players will be dressed to the nines in anticipation of being drafted and their outfit will ultimately be completed by the cap that represents their new squad.

In years past, this hat was just your standard NFL headwear but things will be shaken up in 2019 as the new caps were just dropped by New Era and they are as eccentric as they are loony. Take a look.

Yes, you read that right. Each cap features state or city flag components and New Era's director of football, Ryan DiNunzio provided an explanation for the new design.

"It’s a unique way to say this is where we started, this is who we are, this is what we’re about, this is the community we represent," he said. "At the same time it tells a separate story of welcoming a new member into that community."

Here is a zoomed in version of the Panthers' unique cap.

We predict that these hats will take some getting used to and we doubt you'll lay eyes on something more nutty and bizarre this Tuesday.

You're welcome.
