Top free agents Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel are still without homes, as the MLB opening weekend has come to a close.

Yes, these two pitchers have been active in working out, but continue doing so without a team to report to for Spring Training (or extended spring).

Though they're making an effort to stay loose while waiting around in free agency, the two pitching standouts will probably not be ready to pitch in an MLB game before May, according to Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY.

Keuchel was the 2015 American League Cy Young winner. For the Houston Astros, last season, he posted a 12-11 record with a 3.74 ERA.

Kimbrel is a seven-time All-Star and contributed 42 saves for the World Series champion Boston Red Sox last season.

Talks of where these two could end up have been buzzing through the MLB world lately, with the top potential locations likely the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers. However, no serious talks have came out, and plenty more teams are at least checking in.

There's no denying either of these guys would make a solid addition to any MLB pitching staff, though said contender will likely have to wait another month for the additions to bear fruit.
