With the additions the New York Yankees made this offseason, it was mainstay Gary Sanchez who entered 2019 with the most pressure on him following a disastrous third MLB season. On Sunday, Sanchez got some of that weight off his shoulder. When facing Baltimore Orioles lefty John Means, Sanchez swung his bat and sent an absolute bomb over the left field wall to notch his first home run of the season.

After all of the injuries and passed balls Sanchez endured in 2018, this homer must have felt extra sweet.

Now, if Sanchez can continue to do this for the majority of the season, he and the Yankees will do just fine.
