Someone in Auburn's frontcourt was going to have to step up in the wake of Chuma Okeke's injury, and Anfernee McLemore has answered the call. The long, athletic forward make his mark on this game with a nasty putback slam that cut Kentucky's lead to two late into the first half.

McLemore is known more for his defense than his scoring, as he averages just 6.6 points per game. Still, with Okeke out, Bruce Pearl and Auburn needed to find a way to replace his scoring around the basket, and going with McLemore has proved wise so far.

There's a lot of basketball left, but McLemore and Auburn aren't backing down from their SEC foe at all.
