Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer might think he's motivating his players with his recent comments, but they may just be harsh enough to push one of them out of town.

That player is two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Xavier Rhodes, who clearly took exception to his HC saying that he needs to play up to the five-year, $78.13 million contract he signed in 2017, as the 28-year-old star recently liked a tweet implying that he needs a "fresh start" with another franchise.

This of course is mere speculation, but how betrayed would you feel if your coach was calling you out after consistently being an ELITE player at your respective position?

And if Rhodes were to want out of Minny, there would reportedly be several suitors for his services.

Sure, 2018 wasn't Xavier's best season in the league, but he was hindered by nagging groin, hamstring and ankle injuries.

It's too early to assume anything, but Zimmer better make nice with Rhodes or he could be down of the league's best defensive back's come training camp.
