When UMBC became the first No. 16 seed to defeat a No. 1 in Virginia last year, it proved that truly anything is possible in March.

With the tournament bracket officially released, fans across the globe will fill out brackets trying to predict this year's biggest upset. UNC coach Roy Williams wants to ensure that those upsets do not involve his team.

After the selection committee revealed that UNC will face off against No. 16 Iona in the first round of the tournament in the Midwest region, Williams had strong words about his approach to each game.

The latter part of Williams' quote will become more applicable as the tournament gets deeper.

With Kansas, Houston and Kentucky all in their region, UNC will have a difficult path to the Final Four. However, knowing that they beat No. 1 overall-seeded Duke twice, albeit without Zion Williamson, should help give the Tar Heels some confidence.

For UNC to be successful this March, the student-athletes will all have to adopt Williams' mindset.
