Some more recruitment talk out of Los Angeles?

It's possible, but not necessarily likely. LeBron James was spotted huddling up with New York Knicks' coach David Fizdale and rookie Kevin Knox after the Lakers' loss to the Knicks on Sunday.

According to Ian Begley, the three were seen having a conversation outside of the visiting locker room after the Knicks' win.

Fizdale could just be trying to connect Knox to James in hopes of having the Lakers' star mentor the Knicks' rookie. Knowing James, however, this will immediately be tied to a possible recruitment pitch for the 19-year-old star.

James has not been shy about recruiting talent to Los Angeles in the past, so perhaps he thinks Knox could be a nice fit on the team. More likely, Fizdale was probably asking LeBron to offer some wisdom to New York's first-round pick from last year's draft.

Knox has had ample opportunity to develop in New York this season, averaging 27.9 minutes per game and posting season numbers of 12.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists.

Hopefully Knox can take whatever advice James gives him and turns it into some improved production on the court. While he's been effective, his lack of efficiency (8.2 PER in 2019) will plague him in his career if he doesn't improve.
