You can't help but be happy for Tidwell... er, Tate. Yes, that's Golden Tate.
After a fairly successful 2018 campaign with the both the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles, Tate received a four-year, $37.5 million deal from the New York Giants in free agency with $23 million guaranteed.

Unfortunately for Giants fans, he won't be lining up next to Odell Beckham Jr.
Still, there's nothing to turn your nose up at with Tate. He's a nine-year NFL veteran with 7,214 receiving yards, 38 touchdowns, and a Pro Bowl appearance to his name.
He's no slouch, and if the Giants decide to make an upgrade at quarterback instead if clinging onto Eli Manning, Tate could manage a 1,000-yard season in 2019. He probably isn't in line to win an Oscar like Cuba, though.
