The NFL may have earned the dubious title of "No Fun League" for its strict on-the-field celebration rules, but there's absolutely nothing it can do about how its players celebrate off the field-- and Golden Tate's recreation Cuba Gooding Jr.'s iconic scene from Jerry Maguire is downright fantastic.

You can't help but be happy for Tidwell... er, Tate. Yes, that's Golden Tate.

After a fairly successful 2018 campaign with the both the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles, Tate received a four-year, $37.5 million deal from the New York Giants in free agency with $23 million guaranteed.

Unfortunately for Giants fans, he won't be lining up next to Odell Beckham Jr.

Still, there's nothing to turn your nose up at with Tate. He's a nine-year NFL veteran with 7,214 receiving yards, 38 touchdowns, and a Pro Bowl appearance to his name.

He's no slouch, and if the Giants decide to make an upgrade at quarterback instead if clinging onto Eli Manning, Tate could manage a 1,000-yard season in 2019. He probably isn't in line to win an Oscar like Cuba, though.
