D'Andre Swift is as dynamic a play-maker as you'll find in college football. The Georgia tailback is a lethal threat out of both the run game and pass game. And he's set to take on an even bigger role in the Dawgs' offense next season with the departure of Elijah Holyfield to the NFL Draft.
UGA fans have good reason to be excited, especially since the Worldwide Leader in Sports is now busting out all the superlatives when discussing Swift's outlook for the 2019 season:
“He’s a home run waiting to happen, whether it’s as a running back or catching passes out of the backfield. When he puts his foot in the ground and takes off, he’s gone," ESPN’s Alex Scarborough said.
The network named Swift as 2019's most dynamic playmaker in college football. High praise for the sophomore Dawg.
“All told, he averaged 6.4 yards per rush and 9.3 yards per reception. And still there’s the sense with him that the best is yet to come," Scarborough continued.
It's a good time to be a Georgia fan. With an experienced Jake Fromm leading the way, Kirby Smart's offense should be rocking and rolling in 2019.
