The Green Bay Packers made a huge addition to their defense, as they signed former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Za'Darius Smith to a four-year, $66 million deal. It includes a $20 million signing bonus.
With all that money coming in, you better believe he's ready to share the wealth. And, he's starting off with mama.

“I said, Ma, you ready to quit working? She said, ‘My bag is already packed.’”
That's quite the heartwarming story. Smith was so fired up about his new deal, he got in his ride and drove 14 hours to tell his mom her working days were over.
In addition, this story will also bring a smile to fans' faces. With Smith now being one of the faces of the Packer defense, you better believe the support he's received has been through the roof. It started in a big way on his flight to his new home.
Smith didn't start playing football until his senior year of high school and he's turned himself into one of the premiere pass-rushers in the game.
Smith has wasted no time winning over the good folks of Green Bay. Just wait till he's in action on Sundays this fall.
