The Honey Badger is taking his tour of destruction to Arrowhead Stadium.

Tryrann Mathieu, a star safety and 2015 All-Pro selection, is reportedly leaving the Houston Texans after one season to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mathieu, who rose to fame as a college superstar at LSU, recorded 70 tackles, three sacks, and two interceptions in his only season with the Texans. He has battled injury issues in the past, but has played the full 16 regular season games the past two seasons.

He spent the first five years of his career with the Arizona Cardinals, who selected him in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

The Chiefs badly needed to improve things up and down their defensive unit after being an absolute sieve in 2018 despite boasting an explosive offense. Signing the Honey Badger to shore things up at the back is a solid first step for Steve Spagnuolo's unit.
