Just a week ago, the Seton Hall Pirates were on a three-game skid, and with some tough upcoming games on the schedule, there was an outside chance they could've missed the NCAA Tournament altogether.
But a momentous comeback victory over No. 16 Marquette earlier this week gave them another quality win for their resume, all but officially guaranteeing their spot in the Big Dance.
And now, an impressive wire to wire victory over No. 23 Villanova could get them a single-digit seed when the committee meets.

Nova made it a game with a second-half comeback, but the Pirates made sure to keep them at arms length for a majority of the contest to secure their 18th victory of the season.
Once again, Myles Powell was the man, dropping 20 points including this absolute bomb.

But it was Myles Cale who really brought the efficiency, adding 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 6-of-8 from three-point range.
Seton Hall's defense came up big when it needed to, allowing the Pirates to get out to an 11-point lead at the half and then cashing in on some key Wildcats turnovers late in the game.

Despite Nova's balanced attack, with all five of their starters registering double-digit points, Jay Wright's squad continues to falter, having lost four of their last six, including blowouts to Georgetown and Xavier.
With the Big East Tournament right around the corner, Marquette could grab a share of the conference lead with a win over Georgetown today thanks to Seton Hall's win.
